From leading the onboarding of the 24×7 team to stepping up for weekend support, Taniya has played a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects.

I’m Taniya Sule! Born and raised in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, I moved to Maharashtra to attend high school and earned my bachelor’s in engineering. My early schooling in Chhindwara shaped my confidence, and I still love visiting to reconnect with my teachers (I was the classic nerd—always a teacher’s favorite!).
With 9+ years in the industry, I lead multiple U.S.-based client projects as a Technical Delivery Lead at phData. I turn business needs into scalable tech solutions, ensuring best practices and smooth execution.
I’m currently based in Pune with my husband. I’m a travel enthusiast and coffee addict, and I’m always up for a good tech discussion or a binge-worthy thriller!
You joined phData in January as the first Technical Delivery Manager in India. What excited you most about this opportunity?
Joining phData as India’s first Technical Delivery Manager was an exciting challenge! I was motivated by the opportunity to shape this role, bridge the gap between onshore and offshore teams, and drive impactful client deliveries. I was especially thrilled to bring structure, best practices, and collaboration to complex projects while paving the way for future leaders in India. Being part of a dynamic, data-driven culture made it even more exciting.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like in Your Role?
Managing five clients means no two days are ever the same! My day starts with coffee and catching up on Slack messages, threads, and emails. I then review my calendar, prioritize key meetings, and prepare accordingly.
The rest of my day is a mix of project work, unblocking my team, and ensuring smooth execution through brainstorming sessions, problem-solving, or client discussions. I wind down by documenting key updates, planning for the next day, and sometimes squeezing in some learning, exploring new tech trends, or refining best practices!
You’ve Made a Huge Impact quickly, From Leading The 24x7 Team Onboarding to Weekend Support. What Has Been The Most Rewarding Part of Your Work So Far?
The most rewarding part has been the opportunity to contribute to building structure and improving collaboration. Leading the 24×7 team onboarding and weekend support has also been a learning experience for me—working alongside the team to streamline processes and enhance coordination. Seeing the team grow confidently and work more seamlessly has been truly fulfilling. I’m grateful for the support and collaboration that made this possible!
What Skills Do You Think Are Essential For Being Successful in a Technical Delivery Manager Role?
A successful Technical Delivery Manager needs a mix of technical expertise and leadership skills. Strong communication is key, while problem-solving and adaptability help navigate challenges. Project management skills ensure smooth execution and a keen eye for process improvements drives efficiency. Most importantly, fostering collaboration and empowering the team is essential to delivering high-quality solutions.

What Would You Like to Learn or Improve in Your Role as a Technical Delivery Manager?
I want to be more hands-on wherever possible to better understand my team’s challenges and provide the right support. Leading from the front helps make informed decisions and strengthens trust and confidence within the team. Most importantly, I want to contribute to phData’s objective of expanding and strengthening tech delivery from India.
What Does Your Day Look Like Outside of Work?
Outside work, I love spending quality time with my husband, whether planning our next travel, catching up on a binge-worthy thriller, or exploring new cafes in Pune. When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me adding things to my Amazon cart, obsessing over home décor ideas, or planning a week of healthy meals.
What’s a Dream Destination You’d Love to Visit One Day?
This is a tough one because my travel bucket list is endless! I dream of visiting all 12 Jyotirlingas in India, witnessing Kashmir in full bloom during tulip season, and catching a mesmerizing sunset in Kanyakumari. Globally, I want to chase the Northern Lights in Santa Claus Town, try my luck in Vegas (and marry the same guy for the third time in a chapel ), party in Ibiza, sip tea at the top of Burj Khalifa, steal a kiss under the Eiffel Tower, wander through Japan’s cherry blossoms, soak in the scenic beauty of Krabi and Santorini, admire the stunning mosques of Istanbul, and snap a selfie with the Merlion in Singapore! And knowing me, I’ve probably missed a few spots from my list!
